DDGS (Dried Distiller Grain with Solubles)
The Andersons has always tried helping farmers at every stage of their farming operations. We are pleased to be able to offer and supply Dry Distiller Grains for livestock feed.
As with all of The Andersons' services, a strong business relationship is the key in effectively supplying your animal feed needs. Our full-time, dedicated DDG merchants are ready to do work with each of our customers on feed needs, quality requirements, freight needs, and more. We do not consider DDGS as merely a by-product of ethanol manufacturing, but as an important end product. Our goal is to produce a consistent, quality product that customers will want in their feed ration.

What are DDGS?
DDGS are a co-product of the ethanol production process. Distillers grains are rich in cereal proteins, fat (energy), minerals, and vitamins. They are an excellent source of digestible protein and energy.
Why use DDGS?
According to studies by the University of Illinois and the University of Minnesota, DDGS are a healthy way to supplement your livestock's diet, and in many cases costs less than traditional feed. Our customers continue to do business with us because we produce some of the most consistent DDGS on the market.
