Dear Customer,
One of the issues that we are currently dealing with are high levels of mycotoxins in corn. In order to ensure the safety of our Dried Distiller Grains and Solubles (DDGS), we will begin testing each load for Vomotoxin starting on Monday, November 23rd. We will be running a qualitative (strip) test taht shows if Vomotoxin levels are 5ppm (parts per million) or greater. If we receive a positive result (5ppm or higher), you will have a choice to unload with a discount, or not unload. If you choose to unload, we will run an additional test to determine the Vomotoxin level. We anticipate that we will have the results back the next day for this test. Current discount is 5 cents each one part per million over 5ppm (subject to change). This situation will be very dynamic and we encourage you to keep in close contact with us.
