In-Field Crop Progress - Ontario

In Southwest Ontario, Mike Robinson and Courtney Cox assess the condition of the corn and soybean crops. Rainfall varied across the region, creating longer-than-usual planting windows. However, dry conditions since planting have led to some early dry-down. Despite the growing conditions, disease pressure has remained low in both crops. Corn is beginning to dent, while the upper pods on soybean plants are filling. With harvest approaching, average yields are expected.
